Terrapin of Doom Project Journal.

The Terrapin Project is a project for anyone to participate in. Basically what we aim to do is to create a symbolic phenomenon around the world. Sounds impossibly fantastical, we know, but if everyone does a little bit, we might just get somewhere.
The Terrapin of Doom Project was started by the FPP, a syndition born of the ideas of a philosophical trio in Southern England. FPP stands for Future Power People – the idea behind the name being that everyone has the power to make a difference in the future, and also to use this power efficiently and sensibly, whether in everyday life or in high positions of authority. The FPP has no particular political agenda, other than perhaps to call for leaders to stop using their powers with complete folly and idiocy!

To the Terrapin, it does not matter what race, age or religion you are; what is important is that you carry out what is morally important to you with no foolishness, for that makes you worthy of admiration, and that makes you a future power person.
We call for a heightened level of awareness, appreciation and creativity in life; we call for intelligence wherever power is used; basically we call for just sheer coolnessissity.
Anyone who displays the terrapin symbol displays these qualities also.

....and the terrapin shall inherit the earth....

The Project

Currently the project is to get the Terrapin's symbol up and around through a process similar to graffiti, but known as 'marking'. Done either through use of marker pen (non-permanent, mind, as the stuff is a bugger to get off), stickers or small posters with blu-tak - in fact it can be done in any way you wish that doesn't involve permanence the way that graffiti does. The aim is simply to intrigue; to pique people's interests in the Terrapin, and to be as inventive as possible in doing so. Hopefully when we get more recruits we can set up competitions for the 'most interestingly-placed' Terrapin.
But enough on this.
